This is our advanced disassembled book nook set with secret drawer on top for lightning – create miniature perfect diorama easily with this set, with lightning from top! You can put any light source which fit drawer dimensions, usually “fairy lights” type LED lights are used.

—DIMENSIONS—

Book nook is cut from 3mm (or 1/8″) plywood. When assembled, dimensions are 22.86 cm height, 9.52 cm width, 17 cm depth (or 9″ height, 3.75″ width, 6.7″ depth).

Usable drawer dimensions (width, length, height): 8x16x2 cm (or 3.15″x6.3″x0.79″). Drawer can be removed easily, pulling from the back.

—ITEM INFORMATION—

You will receive all parts packed together in a box, assembly is required and craft or wood glue (NOT INCLUDED), difficulty ratio 5/10, this is easy set, no tools needed! We will include basic manual in the box. If something is not clear in assembly, please contact us, we will always help you.

Please note that as this is made from plywood which is wood, it behaves like wood – due to humidity and difference in temperatures plates can arrive slightly warped, so when gluing it in place if you notice any warping just add extra weight on top (well, its a book nook, so you can just stack few books) to hold it in place while glue sets.

We also include nook mirror in this listing as separate position – please note that mirror is not a part of standard set and should be ordered separately. If you purchase back mirror variation, you will receive 3mm (1/8) thickness acrylic (plastic) mirror and two 35° wooden corners for easier mirror positioning. This can be used to create endless scene or give your diorama extra depth. Positioned at 35° it will reflect not the front of the nook, but right side at the back. Exact mirror dimensions are 51×193.5mm or 2″x7.61″, placed at the correct angle, it will take exactly half of your nooks back, so you will not lose much depth. While acrylic material is safer than glass and harder to break, it is also less resistant to scratches, so please take care while handling it.

We provide light as separate item on this listing: We offer fairy lights, 2 m length (6.5 ft), warm white color (we have cool white too, contact us if you need this one, price is the same), 20 LED lights on a string. Batteries are included, but we always recommend you to get fresh ones, you will need 2 pcs. CR2032 type batteries, these are widely available and there should be no problems to get it.
